Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia (SRIA) is a freemasonic order in England and branch of the wider Societas Rosicruciana which began in Scotland. It was founded between 1865-67 by Robert Wentworth Little and is open only to Master Masons associated with a Grand Lodge recognised by the United Grand Lodge of England. The structure of the order largely derives from the Order of the Golden and Rosy Cross, an 18th century group in Germany. Three members of the Societas Rosicruciana founded the infamous Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.
