Global warming theory is a cash hoax. Not that human activity alters the planet's climate, but that the researchers funded by the government get more money the more they scare people about it so they're constantly making things up to get more and more taxpayer-robbed dollars. At some point with all their past predictions never coming true and then constantly altering the historical data, they renamed their hoax to "climate change" so however the climate changes--warmer, colder, dryer, wetter--they can scare governments into funding them more money.

For the full details on why it is a hoax, please sit through 100 hours of videos by Stefan Molyneux in his series: Climate Change and Global Warming with Stefan Molyneux

Some governments are responding to the fear of global warming with weather modification through chemical geoengineering such as chemtrails. The debate on climate change does not acknowledge the role of climatic warfare, namely the deliberate manipulation of climate for military use.[1]

Over $6 trillion has been spent on global warming research, but the world can be cooled for $6 billion. It is just sending out ships into the ocean to spray sea water into the atmosphere which creates salt water cloud whitening, which makes clouds more reflective to reflect more sunlight away from the planet and this would be safe unlike chemtrails currently being used.[2]

The main debate is not over CO2 but global warming from H2O

The main debate over global warming is not from the effect of CO2 but on the feedback from more CO2 causing water to evaporate. Water is a greenhouse gas, but clouds reflect the sun's heat. The mainstream media never mentions that the debate is not over the direct effects of CO2 but is about feedback from more CO2 causing water to evaporate. CO2 in the atmosphere is increasing but the debate is whether the extra water vapor in the atmosphere will increase the warming or counteract it.[3]

George Soros also gave millions to Al Gore to push the global warming claim.[4]

Permian Era extinction

So more CO2 is going into the atmosphere and the temperature is rising, but the assertion of "global warming"/"climate change" proponents is that most of the temperature increase is from water vapor rather than CO2. Of course even without water vapor increasing the temperature, enough CO2 in the atmosphere alone will do to the earth what happened at the end of The Permian Era. First large areas of land will became arid. Then as the sea gets warmer, frozen methane in the ocean will sublime and go into the atmosphere to raise temperatures even more. This will warm the ocean even more and warmer water has less oxygen. With less oxygen in the ocean, a certain type of bacteria will thrive. This bacteria produces hydrogen sulfide (rotten eggs odor) and high enough concentrations of hydrogen sulfide are lethal. Hydrogen sulfide gas will rise up from the oceans, killing most life there, and then go onto the land killing most plants and animals. The only animals to survive will be small animals. That is what happened at the end of the Permian Era.

Positives from the movement

The main positive effect from the movement has been the push toward quieter cars. Cars used to be louder than a gunshot and the requirement of emissions controls, tends to quiet them. In areas with no emissions requirement, people rip out their mufflers and catalytic converts to have the loudest vehicles possible which is torture of you live near a paved road. Diesel-powered vehicles are immune from these requirements typically which is why they're torturously loud. Motorcycles tend to be loud and with foul-smelling emissions because the riders intentionally remove the catalytic converters and mufflers once they pass the smog checks so they can drive between two lanes of traffic and people can hear them 10 miles away.
